The D. E. Stearns Company announces that starting April 1, 2009, the Model 10/20 Holiday Detector will now come with a three year warranty. This is an extension of the existing 90 day warranty which the Model 10/20 has always offered.

The warranty of the Model 10/20 will be for a period of three years after initial sale of the instrument. The warranty will cover the cost of repair labor and component replacement if it is determined that the cause of the repair issue is due to a manufacturers defect.

This warranty will not cover repairs needed due to improper use, damage caused by abuse or negligence, or any instrument which has been altered or changed in any way from the production version.
